Overnight Ride to Palo Duro Canyon State Park

Make your way to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, TX. Please register -->> PALO DURO, for a head count only. No PCH fees due for this trip.

Members will be responsible for getting to this year's out of town trip as well as your own lodging. Feel free to connect with other Chapter members to ride there! While there's no official ride to Palo Duro Canyon; we'll be meeting to ride the canyon together on May 17th! KSU is at 10:00am Saturday, May 17th from Tripps Harley-Davidson 6040 W Interstate Hwy 40, Amarillo, TX 79106. You will need to get a save the day pass from the Texas State Parks ($8 per person. So purchase additional tickets for your passenger if applicable.) https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com This pre-purchase is CRUCIAL to guarantee your entry. These passes are available 30 days in advance (available starting April 18th) but not sooner. There will be gas stops during the ride but given the remoteness of the area a sack lunch or snacks are recommended. 

Friendly Tip: We did find that Airbnb's are more budget friendly when staying with a group. Feel free to use PCH Facebook page as a platform to connect with other Chapter members. There are motels/hotels available near the dealer in Amarillo with reasonable rates. A dinner after is in the works.
